It won't take long for anyone to realise that landscape and in particular landscapes that feature water are my favourite subject. Thats not to say I don't enjoy other photographic disciplines, I do but my first love is landscapes. I'm really not sure why landscapes, maybe it's because they tend to keep still and don't get upset if the photographs are not flattering!

If I had to choose a second favourite subject it would be my grandchildren otherwise known as the grumplings. Not formal style photographs, I like taking informal "reportage" style photographs of them at play or discovering the world around them. Studio photography is something I've yet to master so I leave that to my son, Christopher, who I think has mastered it, although I have recently invested in some studio kit to have a play with.
